Fundraisers
Are you interested in raising money for a good cause while doing a fun, family friendly activity? Markham Bowl is here to help! We’ve helped many organizations raise money for great causes.
If your group needs between $300 and $1000, the 50/50 party may be the best and easiest to conduct.
Great for clubs, school classes, and sports teams.
Establish a date, time, food items, and prices to be charged and we will help you!
Example:
You want $10 from each bowler to cover the cost of bowling. If you sell the tickets for $20.00 you make a profit of $10 for your organization.
Groups or organizations wanting to raise $2000, $5000, or even $25 000 or more should consider a Bowl-A-Thon.
A Bowl-A-Thon is where individuals get pledges from family, friends, co-workers, and any others to support their cause.
Typically, in a Bowl-A-Thon, the average amount of pledges per person is over $100; but remember 30% of the participants will bring you 70% of your funds.
The Lane Sell can be used in conjunction with any type of fundraiser.
It works when partipants sell lanes to small businesses, groups, or individuals. The “owner” of each lane can send 6 individuals to bowl on a team and represent their group.
Typically, the lanes are sold for $200, $250, $500, or sometimes even $1000 per lane.
